NORCLAD TIMBER DECKING

Use timber decking to modernise your outdoor area.

Timber Decking can be machined from any species that we offer, although a timber such as Western Red Cedar is very soft, and could damage easily. The most popular species that we offer for our decking is European Redwood, in either an Unsorted, or Fifths grade.

Requirements To Suit You

Subject to installation, and ensuring the Timber Decking is out of direct ground contact (UC3) a warranty of 30 years/ expected 50 year service life can be achieved if high pressure treated with NORclad “Brunnea”.

PSE (Planed Square Edge) boards can be machined from a number of section sizes for a more bespoke profile where needed, or we offer standard decking in either Ex 32 x 125mm or Ex 38 x 125mm.

Depending on the footfall and requirements of the area there are then a further 3 options from these section sizes:

  • A board with groove machined, but without Non-Slip inserts,
  • With 2 Non-Slip inserts for a residential situations
  • Or for commercial situations with a high footfall, 3 Non-Slip inserts.

High Pressure preservative treatment: NORclad Brunnea or NORclad Lite.

Anti-slip strips: Available with, 0, 2, or 3 inserts.

Slip Resistance Group (UKSRK) guidelines.

Inserts are guaranteed for three years for delamination or debonding from the timber board.

For Residential Use: 2 narrow non-slip insert strips using a unique blend based on 0.5-0.9 mm Guyanan Calcined Bauxite – Grey Colour with a minimum PSV (Polished Stone value) of 70 independently tested using the pendulum test (the operation and calibration of which is described in BS7976:2002 parts 1 & 3) operated to the United Kingdom Slip Resistance Group (UKSRK) guidelines.

For Commercial Use: 3 narrow non-slip inserts strips using a unique blend based on 0.5-1.4 mm Guyanan Calcined Bauxite – Grey Colour with a minimum PSV (Polished Stone value) of 100 independently tested using the pendulum test (the operation and calibration of which is described in BS7976:2002 parts 1 & 3) operated to the United Kingdom Slip Resistance Group (UKSRK) guidelines.
