The Natura Collection. A brand new collection of 10 x High Quality Painted / Coated Thermowood Colours in a brushed textured finish.
By combining the highest quality timber, coatings and surface treatment technologies, the new Natura Collection delivers a stunning, fully finished cladding solution. Its uniquely sanded and brushed surface allows the non-film based Remmers coating to penetrate beneath the surface of the timber, allowing the finish to bind to the cells preventing peeling and cracking. The Natura Collection is specially heat treated to improve its stability and thermal insulation properties as well as removing resin from the timber, resulting in a stunning, low-maintenance timber cladding product.

Textured Thermowood Cladding with Rich, Earthy Character
The Natura Collection brings natural warmth and rich texture to your project—offering 10 pre-finished ThermoWood colour options, each expertly brushed for depth, sealed for durability, and chosen for timeless beauty.
Crafted from heat-treated Scandinavian Pine and Spruce, every board in the Natura Collection features a rugged, tactile surface that enhances the wood’s natural grain. Coated with breathable Remmers coatings in a palette of timeless tones—from soft oaks to deep charcoals—this collection delivers rustic charm with modern resilience.
Designed for buildings that demand both style and substance, Natura cladding pairs beautifully with both traditional and contemporary architecture.
Built on ThermoWood®
Natural timber, enhanced by heat.
At the heart of the Natura Collection is ThermoWood®, a Scandinavian softwood transformed through high-temperature treatment. Heated to over 200°C in a controlled environment, the timber undergoes structural and chemical changes that boost its performance and aesthetic value.
This process deepens the wood’s colour, improves its stability and insulation, and crucially, removes resins—so there’s no bleed-through to spoil the final finish.
Benefits of ThermoWood®:
- Enhanced dimensional stability in changing climates
- Improved thermal insulation for energy-efficient performance
- Resin-free surface—ideal for coatings
- Naturally darker tone and rich appearance
- Eco-friendly and sustainable—sourced from Nordic forests
Perfect for exposed applications, ThermoWood is made to last and designed to be seen.
Finished With Remmers
Durable coatings, natural texture.
The Natura Collection is factory-finished with 2 coats using Remmers’ high-performance water-based stains, specifically developed to complement heat-treated ThermoWood. Each board is factory-coated in a controlled environment, using up to three coats applied to all visible faces, edges, and ends—ensuring maximum durability and even colour coverage.
Remmers coatings penetrate deep into the textured surface of the timber, forming a breathable barrier that protects against UV, moisture, algae, and fungal decay. Whether you’re aiming for subtle warmth or bold contrast, the natural grain of the wood remains visible beneath each translucent tone—bringing depth and authenticity to every elevation.
Why Remmers?
- Semi-film-forming, breathable finishes—designed not to crack or peel
- Built-in UV and weather resistance for long-lasting colour stability
- Low-maintenance performance with easy future recoat options
- Available in natural and opaque tones to suit every palette
- Formulated for ThermoWood® for consistent adhesion and a refined matte look
From deep charcoals to warm oaks, the Natura Collection combines organic texture with Remmers’ proven protective technology—offering a cladding solution that’s as resilient as it is beautiful.
Specify
If you have decided that Timber Cladding is going to be one of the materials on your project the next step is to create a specification that will meet the criteria and expectations you, and your client have.
NORclad will be happy to talk through what is available and enable you to select, amongst others: species, profile, size, treatment, requirement for Euro Class B, service life.
We offer installation guidance, detailing guidance based on TDUK documentation, with a wealth of knowledge and information on how different timbers will perform over the life span of your project.
Considerations that should be made when it comes to weather, along with how elevation and design variations can impact timber cladding.
Please get in contact if you would like NORclad to create an H21 specification for you, or download direct via NBS here.
