Our range of sustainable responsibly purchased FSC and PEFC certified timber cladding products provide a wonderful contemporary set of solutions for finishing the façade or outside of any building from for example schools, hospital, universities, our own family homes to name but a few.
Working with timber provides many options, a range of species available can offer different aesthetic finishes, from Accoya to Shou Sugi Ban and Canadian Western Red Cedar. Once a species is selected, timber is easily machined; T&G profiles, timber fins, solar shading, Planed boards for soffit boards, window heads and jambs. Standards
All NORclad timber cladding products are sourced and procured from sawmill partners we have worked with for many years in various countries, where full due diligence has been conducted by NORclad on sustainability and quality to various sawmill grading authority quality systems.
All NORclad cladding products conform to the current European standard for timber claddings as of 2014 which supersedes BS1186-3. This standard, in summary, is as follows: Quality of timber (exposed surfaces): To EN 14915 .
NORclad timber cladding is produced in accordance with factory production control for the selection, grading, machining and preservative treatment of solid wood cladding with third party accreditation to ISO9001 and 14001. Other EN standards observed within process are EN 14519 (Profiled Products), EN 15146 (Planed all round – PSE Products) and BS 8417 (Preservative Treatment).
Within this framework, all Cladding products are produced from a quality control perspective to EN 14915. Full compliance and Control under current CE/ UKCA marking for Grade A and Grade B is part of the Quality control process.
All timber products we machine are also selected after machining and prior to packaging where Grade A and Grade B per CE Marking Quality Grading requirements are part of our “Quality Management Process” including BS1186-3 Class 2 & Class 3 grades. Class 1 and CSH are also available depending on enquiry and lead time.
