A specification was created utilising a PEFC-certified NORclad European Redwood in A Grade.

NORclad “Brunnea” treatment offers a formal warranty on the product for 30 years against rot and fungal decay (out of ground contact), along with a good level of colour stability VS traditional untreated species.

A new dry leisure centre in this Lincolnshire market town. The facility includes: a fitness studio, exercise studio, 4-court sports hall, café and external 3-G pitch. Consideration has been taken for future expansion, which subject to funding could incorporate a swimming pool. The site at Gainsborough Road is surrounded by Listed/Heritage Buildings and therefore the external appearance needed to be sympathetic to the area. The site forms part of a larger Green Wedge designation that is identified in the Local Plan.

CPMG

NORclad supplied a combination of 45 x 45mm in the main, with some contrasting deeper, 45 x 145mm for the fins of the project – In total over 6000/LM of cladding was supplied, pre-cut to length to allow ease of installation. With the open nature of the rainscreen NORclad also supplied the structural battens for the project, pre-coated black and delivered to site ready to use.
