Based in Bristol, NORclad have been supplying a variety of quality timber cladding solutions to projects for over 40 years.
We offer a range of sustainable timber species and products, such as British Larch and European Redwood, which provide bespoke product solutions for a range of architectural projects. Our timber cladding products are produced to current European Standards and British Standards, and the raw materials that we use are FSC and/or PEFC certified.

UWE Bower Ashton
Completed in Summer 2017, Siberian Larch was used as the cladding for this project. The larch was untreated so that the timber could weather down to a silver/grey colour and blend in with its surroundings, as well as contrast the other materials on the building. NORclad Grade B was supplied, which offers a fair spread of knots and the distinctive grain of the species.
Southmead Hospital
European Redwood Timber was used in the development of a new car park project at Southmead Hospital. The timber was High Pressure Impregnated with NORclad MicroShades ‘Brunnea’ treatment, which offers a warranty against rot and fungal decay out of ground contact for 30 years. This project was completed in Summer 2016.
Steiner Academy
Completed in 2014, this project used untreated Welsh Larch used as the cladding. The timber will eventually weather to a silver/grey colour, showing a beautiful colouring already. Rather than using some of the standard corner trims, NORclad instead mitred all corners of this project, giving it a unique and professional appearance.
Air Balloon School
Untreated PEFC Certified Canadian Western Red Cedar was installed at a local primary school, and was originally completed in 2013. It has since been revisited and the façade has considerably weathered down, but some solar shades overhangs on the building still show the original colours of Western Red Cedar.
Oatley Park
This current and ongoing installation has seen NORclad products used on a variety of different house types. All materials supplied to this prestigious development are MicroShades ‘Brunnea’ treated. European Redwood is being used as the main cladding across the properties and garages, while Southern Yellow Pine is being fitted for the larger sections.
