NORCLAD SIBERIAN LARCH TIMBER CLADDING

Siberian Larch timber cladding is a durable specie with the sapwood omitted. It is a slow grown high density, softwood with a colour that ranges from a light straw yellow to a gold/brown in the heartwood area.

Siberian larch is one of the most durable species of coniferous softwood and comes from Siberia in Russia. It is one of the hardest and strongest commercial softwoods, excellent machining properties, though knots may be troublesome, and is suitable for many end uses from external joinery and cladding applications, areas of potential high impact damage such as schools, shops to boat planking.

Siberian larch is often a very popular timber cladding choice for its appearance. It is regarded as having a very desired finish and provides beautiful colouring and texture. The shapes and patterns of the growth rings are very aesthetically pleasing and provide real character to each cladding panel. Siberian larch will often start life as pale yellow/golden brown in colour but weathers to striking silvery grey colours, although treatment and staining can change this.

FURTHER INFORMATION

All grading information is given as guidance, to meet the criteria set through CE marking, quality and grading requirements.

All products we machine in house are selected after machining and before final packaging. For further details on the grade, please contact us, likewise we are more than happy to work with you to create grading criteria bespoke to your project. Products can be supplied as FSC® and/ or PEFC® certified timber.
